The grant funding of £10,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation and £1,000 from the Arnold Clark Community Fund will greatly reduce the financial strains we face as a charity and allow us to concentrate on our services, whilst researching new initiatives and projects that will improve the well being and quality of life in our community throughout the upcoming year.

We are immensely thankful for their continued support and very generous contributions.

Have Your Say on The Learning Disability Big Plan with BCP Council

The Learning Disability Big Plan is a draft plan about life in BCP for people with learning disabilities and their families — and local people are being asked to share their views.

Anyone in BCP can take part.

The survey is open until 29 March 2026.

Easy Read versions of the plan and survey are available.

Paper copies can be found in libraries, day opportunities services and Boscombe, Christchurch or Parkstone Connect services.

Christchurch Magdalen Trust is a long‑standing local charity based in Christchurch, Dorset, dedicated to supporting local people in financial hardship, ill health or other severe need.
